Along with the Stockholm Metro, Montreal pioneered the installation of public art in the metro among capitalist countries, a practice that before hand was mostly found in Socialist and Communist nations (the Moscow Metro being a case in point).

The Yellow (Line 4) line is one of the four lines of the Montreal metro.
Considered useful because of the Expo 67, the line was built instead of, but numbered as if it had been built in addition to, the Line 3 that was originally planned but cancelled.

Connect the metro with a new type of rail link, such as an above ground monorail system, similar to Vancouver or San Francisco; much cheaper to build and it's more interesting for the rider to view their surroundings while travelling instead of being in a tunnel.
I'd also like to see the western orange line go up to Gouin Blvd., and the yellow line have its extensions to the south in Longueuil to Cegep Edouard-Montpetit and to the north to Montreal-Nord crossing the Plateau and Rosemont.
Metro Orange and Green lines are parallel to each other downtown, but oblige us to make our way back to Berri or Lionel Groulx if one wants to make a quick trip, say, from Peel Metro across to Place Bonaventure.
