The Centre for Cultural Research has had an ongoing relationship with the Department of Cultural Studies at Lingnan University, Hong Kong, in the form of a Memorandum of Understanding 'to enhance international collaboration in research development between the two institutions'.
Since 2002, when the first delegation of staff and graduate students from Lingnan, including internationally renowned cultural theorist Professor Meaghan Morris (now a member of CCR), attended a workshop, the relationship between the institutions has grown with continued collaborations.
Professor Morris' presented a seminar to the inaugural workshop, 'From Criticism to Research: Textual Work in the New Academy.'
