 New Zealand Triathlon
The Manawatu Triathlon Club has also had increased interest for its upcoming club season, which begins at the Linton army camp on November 21.
All the Manawatu Triathlon Club's monthly races this year will be held at Linton after changing from its previous base at the Lido Aquatic Centre.
The triathlon begins with a 300m swim, followed by a 12km bike ride and a 3km run along the Bridle Track alongside the Manawatu River.

21 personnel and eight 4x4 Unimog Trucks from Linton Army Camp are at Tangimoana providing assistance with preventative sandbagging of a floodwall.

Talks between New Zealand and Australia that began on Monday at Linton Military Camp and finished today, have been highly successful.
Lead by NZ Army's Brigadier Paul Southwell and Australian Army's Deputy Chief of Army, Major General Ian Gordon, the 22 attendees discussed issues regarding interoperability and looked at ways to improve the two Armies understanding, effectiveness, and long-standing close alliance.
Brigadier Paul Southwell, who lead the New Zealand Army's contribution said "the talks were very successful and of great value to both armies".
