Roy Linwood Clark (born April 15 1933) is one of the most versatile and well-known country music musicians and performers.
Clark is an entertainer, most of all, with an amiable personality and a telegenic presence.
In the '70s, Roy Clark frequently guest-hosted for Johnny Carson on The Tonight Show and enjoyed a 30,000,000 viewership for "Hee Haw." As both a guitarist and banjo player, Clark is a virtuoso.

Clark had first won repute as a criminal lawyer in a 'poisoning case' and soon acquired a large practice in civil jurisdiction as well, although his generosity and refusal 'to accept anything beyond a reasonable and modest fee' prevented him making a fortune at the Bar.
Clark advised the government to appeal to the Privy Council and went to England in 1890 to conduct the case.
Clark's draft also differed from the adopted constitution in his proposal for 'a separate federal judiciary', with the new Supreme Court replacing the Privy Council as the highest court of appeal on all questions of law, which would be 'a wholesome innovation upon the American system'.

Over 50 Linwood Middle School students have already participated in sending seven boxes of goodies to Iraq, and this week will send letters to help soldiers feel more at home during the holidays, according to Pete Clark, the school’s principal.
In an effort to help the company do its job, Clark said students collected cookies, chips, candies, powdered juice mixes, magazines and personal hygiene products to ship to the soldiers.
