	Liptov - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Liptov (-Slovak:, Hungarian: Liptó, German: Liptau, Polish: Liptów, Latin: Liptovium) is the name of a historic administrative county (comitatus) of the Kingdom of Hungary.
		Liptov county shared borders with the Austrian land Galicia and the Hungarian counties Árva (Orava), Turóc (Turiec), Zólyom (Zvolen), Gömör-Kishont (Gemer-Malohont) and Szepes (Spiš).
		The capitals of the county were the Liptov Castle and the villages of Liptovská Mara and Partizánska Ľupča since 1677 the capital was Liptovský Mikuláš.
