Patent 4049880: Self-generating halogen liquification in a secondary battery
Each of these alternative methods of halogen liquifaction conventionally require somewhat cumbersome mechanical apparatus for both accomplishing the liquifaction and for isolating the electrochemical elements of the battery from the elevated pressures and/or reduced temperatures used for the liquifaction.
The single container self-generating liquification zinc chloride battery system described above is especially well suited to use in vehicles because its intrinsic high energy density and compact nature greatly facilitate provision of adequate safety features.
Accordingly, it will be understood that the various embodiments disclosed herein were for the purpose of illustration only and were not intended to limit the invention.

 CHAOS AS THE UNIVERSAL SOLVENT
It implies a flowing state of consciousness, "liquification" of consciousness, a return to the womb for rebirth, a baptism or healing immersion in the vast ocean of deep consciousness.
According to the alchemists, the operation of solutio (liquification) has a twofold effect: it causes old forms to disappear and new regenerate forms to emerge.
Solutio implies the liquification of consciousness through the dissolution of rigidities which inhibit free flow.

Besides their role in food liquification, at the onset of metamorphosis they also secrete the glue to paste the puparium to the substratum.
During the third larval instar, the salivary glands produce high ammounts of so-called glue proteins that they then secrete at the the time of pupation.

While LNG is reasonably costly to produce, advances in technology are reducing the costs associated with the liquification and regasification of LNG.
Because it is easy to transport, LNG can serve to make economical those stranded natural gas deposits for which the construction of pipelines is uneconomical.
Liquification also has the advantage of removing oxygen, carbon dioxide, sulfur, and water from the natural gas, resulting in LNG that is almost pure methane.

The coal liquification project launched Wednesday will be built 80 miles south of Baotou in Inner Mongolia, close to Shenhua's reserves in the Shengdong Coalfield.
Shenhua, which owns a 15-percent stake in the HTI liquification technology, plans to build two other similar plants in the area.

 The Tempering of Chocolate
A dramatic decrease in the shear stress indicates the temperature at which liquification occurred, in the above example, this was at approximately 31°C. However, it was also observed that a second peak was produced at approximately 32°C. There are possibly two explanations to explain this phenomenon.
Firstly, this second peak may be caused by the presence of Form VI crystals.
As liquification occurs, heat is absorbed from the surrounding areas causing a reduction in the bulk temperature resulting in a recrystallisation effect ('melting induced recrystallisation').

Using liquid air to produce liquid hydrogen and then the hydrogen to jacket the liquification apparatus, he produced about 60 cubic centimeters of liquid helium on July 10, 1908.
Its boiling point was found to be 4.2 K. Onnes received the Nobel Prize in 1913 for his low temperature work leading to this achievement.

The Savings and Loan problem was severe, and required that the entire banking system be liquefied in the wake of the 1990-1991 recession.
Liquification, which occurred in part as a result of a steep yield curve engineered by the reversal in Fed policy to that of easy money, would also serve to restore confidence in the monetary system during the first half of the 1990s and encourage the creation of credit once again.
High long-term interest rates were contrasted by very low short-term rates--the lowest in decades--in the early 1990s, culminating with a 90-day Treasury Bill yield of just below 3½% in 1993 and a long bond yield above 8%.
