 | | He received several honours for his work including the Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee Medal; the Gold Medal of the Biological Council of Canada for “outstanding contributions to the advancement of biology in Canada.” He was elected Fellow, the Royal Society of Canada in 1979. |
