Radio station WTTO would sponsor dances there and The Britons were billed as "Possibly Toledo's Best Band" because they booked us without an audition and they had never heard of us.
The Britons did what hundreds of thousands of teenager did in the 1960's and continue to do.

Jamaican-born Mary Seacole was named the "Greatest Black Briton" after topping the vote in a campaign that was launched last October to name the 100 Greatest Black Britons.
He conceded that the final list was really only one of hundreds of possible lists that could be made.
The 100 Great Black Britons had the support of the Greater London Authority (GLA) and was launched by the mayor of London, Ken Livingston.
