This articles provides a summary of results for the general elections to the Canadian province of British Columbia's unicameral legislative body, the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia.
Until the 1903 election, British Columbia politics were officially non-partisan - political parties were not part of the process.
This began to change in the 1898 and 1900 elections with the appearance of party-designated candidates.

The first pavement in British Columbia was the Stanley Park ring road, and was made out of the crushed shells of the large midden at the old native village of Qwhy-qwhy (Lumberman's Arch); it was paved for use by bicycles, which until the introduction of the autmobile later on were a popular form of transportation.
In the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia, Vancouver has ten constituencies: in the 2005 provincial election, the BC Liberal Party and the BC New Democratic Party each won five seats.
Topping the list of tallest buildings in Vancouver as of June 2006 is One Wall Centre at 150 m and 48 storeys, followed closely by the Shaw Tower at 149 m and 41 storeys.

While militants had, through their agitation, shaped the desire for a general strike and brought it to the forefront of public consciousness, they had simultaneously failed to create organizations that could ensure the practical application of the principles from which the desire for a general strike stemmed.
