This is a list of neighborhoods in the Bronx, one of five boroughs of New York City, grouped by what general region of the Bronx they are in.
However, this is not true for all neighborhoods in the Bronx; while someone living at East 213th Street and White Plains Road might prefer to describe their location simply as "Gun Hill Road" (a nearby thoroughfare) rather than "Williamsbridge", Riverdale, Throgs Neck, and others have currency levels comparable to neighborhoods in Brooklyn or Queens.
Located north of 183rd Street and west of the Bronx River Parkway, this part of the Bronx is the most heavily commercial and densely populated, and is home to many diverse working- and middle- class communities.
