Chinese dragons Dragon Kung Fu (龍形 Loong Ying) is one of the five animal styles of Shaolin Kung Fu.
Nèijiā (Chinese: 內家; internal family) denotes the internal (or soft) styles of Chinese martial arts, as opposed to wà ijiā (外家; external family), the external (or hard) styles, which are associated with Shaolin and its many derivatives.
Chinese martial arts can also be categorized by location, as in northern (北拳) and southern (南拳) as well, referring to what part of China the styles originated from, separated by the Yangtze River (Chang Jiang); Chinese martial arts can even be classified according to their province or city.

These are the humble beginnings of a collection of Chinese proverbs (歇後語 in pinyin: xie4 hou4 yu3; 諺語 yan4 yu3) and idioms, given in (and sorted by) pinyin transcription.
Many other expressions, however, develop around a rhyme or rhythm of intonation, and because the verbal distinction is tied to the regional dialect, such a proverb or idiom would not necessarily be understood or used outside of that region.
