Martial Art, I think it is very common to asian countries, dont know why, but usually martial art is associated with China, Japan, Hong Kong etc. may be because of different moovies.
In fact martial arts give a person not only a notion of self-defense (the most obvious reason for enrolling in all the kinds of martial arts schools), but develope patience, confidence, discipline, self control, courage etc which are even more important life skills to my mind.
I respect the teachers of martial arts from our days which try to teach students first of all the philosophy of martial arts not just the “kicking in the face part”, because a good fighter is the one who defeat his enemy before the fight starts.
