This newly formed Board of Directors with representatives from the Czech organizations of KJT, KJZT, SPJST, and RVOS decided to hold a second "get-together." It was held in honor of the Tree Magi on January 6, 1985 at St. Margaret Mary's Church.
Czech Heritage Day was held on the first Sunday of March at St. Margaret Mary's Activity Center on March 1, 1987, March 6, 1988 and March 5, 1989.
Since the Czechs were the second largest group in Texas according to the 1980 census, it is a worthwhile project.

Sixteen other European countries including Austria, Belgium and all the post-communist states that joined the EU in May have laws similar to the Czech Republic's: Citizens -- unless they specifically opt out -- are assumed to have given their consent to use of their organs after death.

When I started this list I was assured that the revisonists would "storm" the list and I'd have nothing useful come through their noise.
I monitored that list for 3 months to get a feel as to where the neos were coming from and if they had any competent leadership (sort of a "know your enema" uh, er, "enemy" [sorry ;-)] exercise).
When they infect a list they will say things that are designed to get people to "blow their cool" and then (from the neos perspective) the fun begins.

The Archives of Czechs and Slovaks Abroad (ACASA) consists of several thousand books, brochures, periodicals, anniversary publications, almanacs, and personal papers of Czechs and Slovaks who have lived outside of Czechoslovakia for some portion of their lives.
One of the most unique reference sources within ACASA is a list of nine thousand refugees from Czechoslovakia who were registered in Regensburg, Germany, from January to August 1948.
The Archives of Czechs and Slovaks Abroad is a separately housed collection and its contents are not reflected in either the Library’s Horizon catalog or its General Card Catalog.
