A Brief History Of Time (Travel): The Eighth Doctor
The new Doctor behaves in a more human manner than his predecessors, perhaps tying in to the revelation that he is half-human; this is most clearly seen in his willingness to entertain romantic notions with Grace Holloway, albeit in an innocent, almost childlike manner.
Doctor Who was successful in the United Kingdom, it was a disappointment in North America, where it was broadcast during the fierce May "sweeps" period.

Doctor Who - Tardis - A Wikia wiki
Doctor Who is a science-fiction television programme that originally ran on the BBC from 1963 to 1989.
Doctor Who writer Terrance Dicks often expressed the theory that Time Lord names were "jawbreakers," long and extremely difficult to pronounce, and this was why the Doctor never revealed his true name.
The relevation in the 1996 television movie that the Doctor was half-human proved controversial among fans, and some have suggested that only the Eighth Doctor was half-human due to the particularly traumatic circumstances of his regeneration, rather than the Doctor having been half-human all along.

Integrated medicine: new horizons in holistic medicine and orthodox medicine
For those who are concerned about either the welfare of their patients or the costs of medical insurance and litigation, such a scheme should be embraced with considerable enthusiasm.
The suggestion that doctors are incapable of controlling their prescribing habits when confronted with "demanding" patients is not only highly insulting, it also implies widespread medical incompetence.
Although there may be some who would suggest that medicine should be allowed to evolve in a haphazard ad hoc manner, such an approach is not only unscientific, it also poses an unacceptable cost in terms of human suffering and lives.

How The Producers went sour on me
As a card-carrying cheerleader of The Producers since the cult film of 1968, this movie was over for me with the overture, a groaning of major chords that in the theatre elicit anticipatory chortles all around the house and in the cinema was received with all the hilarity of a paper handkerchief.

Nathan Lane, who fills a stage with terrifying bonhomie, loses his menace and much of his presence on screen; he seems to be one of those actors, like Antony Sher, whose qualities of excess are shrunk by the viewfinder.

List of Doctor Who producers - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This is a series of lists of those who have received a producer credit (executive, associate, etc.) on the long-running British science fiction television programme Doctor Who.
Therefore the list is just of those receiving a producer credit on-screen and not those who have effectively fulfilled producers' roles for the show, such as Terrance Dicks' brief tenure as producer before the arrival of Barry Letts, and a brief spell by David Maloney in 1978 when Graham Williams was incapacitated.
