The Dutch turned out in much greater numbers than anticipated, thanks in part to an assertion by Dutch politicians that they would not consider a referendum failure binding on their decision process unless the turnout exceeded 35% and the Nee vote got at least 55%.

Dutch turret clocks are documented as early as 1367 in Maastricht in the most southern province of Limburg, right at the border of both modern day Belgium and Germany.
The oldest surviving turret clocks on Dutch soil probably are the clock in the Lanscroon in Maastricht (dated approximately 1400) and the church clock, dated approximately 1420, of the small village of Winkel in the North of Holland.
He comments that the Dutch claim this type of clock to have sprung from an English origin, while the English claim it to be from a Dutch one.

With its massive limestone walls, and Dutch and English architectural influences, the Matthew Jansen House is one of the finest historical houses in Kingston.
This Dutch Colonial house, on the southeast corner of John and Crown Streets is a 17th-century remnant of the days just after Kingston and the rest of the Dutch colony of New Netherland came under British control.
Under the direction of Dutch Governor Peter Stuyvesant, the City of Kingston was created as a fort, or a "stockade," to protect Dutch settlers from the raids of Native Americans.

If they planned to have an overview of the influential living architects (that's actually what they said in the introduction), then their list is far from being complete and representative.

It is "remarkable even by Dutch standards," said Aaron Betsky, director of the Netherlands Architecture Institute, which awarded the units designed by MVRDV its NAI Prize in December 2002 as the best project that year by Dutch architects under the age of 40.
The architects have seemed more concerned, critics suggest, with how the project would look in a magazine than what its residents would make of the buildings, or how well they would age.
Across one of the shallow canals is a more communal group of apartment blocks by the Amsterdam architect John Bosch that have deep brown brick exteriors and courtyards with walls covered in bright green panels and wires that will eventually hold creeping vines.
