		These 'Gap' wrestlers are perhaps the best wrestling entertainers out there because not only did they learn from the best 'wrestlers', but they are also keeping pace with the stylings of the best 'sports entertainers'.
		I'm sure that there are a lot of wrestling fans out there that have the Undertaker or Hennig at the top of their favourites list, but those fan's voices are usually drowned out by the fans that cheer on either the new crop of talent or the classic troops of the past.

		Besides....he should of refered to him as shockmaster XD My point is meerly that this is about modern day wrestlers....for me that means no one who debuted before 2000, bar the odd exception.
		And Benoit will never give less than a decent match, plus he's the current US champ, seeing as four out the five of my list are current belt holders, and the other is a challenger for the WWE tag belts, I'd say they were modern day!
		SK, CM punk's style is boring firslt because he only has 4 minutes matches in ecw, and secondly because his original finisher was a pedigree from the top rope....and he sure as hell isn't using that while HHH is about ;-)

		Race is wrestler who is way before my time but that still doesn't stop me from admiring his work.
		He is kinda like Terry Taylor who was a great wrestler but was underrated, and given bad gimmiks (sp) see the red rooster and you will understand.

		To the shock of wrestling fans, ECW dirty laundry is finally being aired through documents released by the Southern District of New York Bankruptcy Court.
		ECW President, Paul Heyman, voluntarily filed for Chapter 11 protection under the U.S. bankruptcy laws on April 4th through the parent company of Extreme Championship Wrestling -- HHG Corporation -- thereby dissolving the notoriously hardcore wrestling promotion.
		Last year, ECW was forced off television by the World Wrestling Federation when they moved to The National Network (TNN).

		Visuals in ECW: Hardcore revolution are for the most part well done, the character models look good, albeit exactly the same as WWF attitude, and some of the graphical glitches are still present, like the previously mentioned hit detection, or the weird polygon "bending" that occurs on the Players arms.
		There are only a few real theme songs amongst the wrestlers (about 8), this may be due to the fact the some ECW wrestlers use real music from bands, and Acclaim couldn't purchase the rights to use it in a game.
		Players have to perform moves using different button sequences, much like a fighting game, and it's very frustrating, since you have to check the move list all the time, and since Wrestlemania 2000 uses a control system anybody can use this is just not acceptable anymore.

		Thankfully though, the British channel BRAVO (dedicated to entertaining blokes returning from the pub) has decided to air ECW and some pieces I have seen were really impressive and I have now added Rob Van Dam, Sabu, Taz and the Gangsta's to my list of favourite superstars.
		ECW owner, Paul Heyman (Paul E. Dangerously), met with many ECW wrestlers on Saturday, April 17, 1999 and informed them that the current financial situation in ECW will be okay in about a month or so.
