 IranianVoice.org - Wish-list Unites Iranians
With the disappearance of the last vestiges of hope for democratic transformation within the existing political system, the Iranian opposition to clerical dictatorship is closing ranks and converging on items of a common agenda for the future of the country.
Many of the items on this wish-list entered the Iranian political lexicon with the publication of a book in 2002 called Winds of Change by Reza Pahlavi, son of the late Shah of Iran, who is leading a campaign to overthrow the mullahs' dictatorship from his home in exile in the United States.
Iranians are left unprotected not only against man-made and natural calamities, but also against a government that has consistently assaulted their human rights and freedoms.

The Iranian Prophet Zoroaster is considered by numerous scholars as the founder of the earliest religion based on revealed scripture.
However, the Iranian language and its various dialects (est.150-200 million speakers) exceeds the Iranian borders and are spoken throughout western China, southern Russia, and eastern Turkey.
Iranian culture was long the predominant culture of the Middle East, with Persian considered the language of intellectuals during much of the second millennium A.D. Nearly all philosophical, scientific, or literary work of the Islamic empires was written in or translated to Persian as well as Arabic.

Even for a regime that excels in deception, the announcement by the Iranian government that nearly half the eligible voters cast their ballots in Friday's election is an extraordinary bit of effrontery.
You will have to excuse us Iranians for our lack of sympathy for these so-called reformers: Just ask yourself, as we ask ourselves, where they were while Iranian youths were being beaten, tortured, abducted, maimed, and deprived of their legitimate rights to continue their university studies.
Although the regime had done its best to urge everyone to participate in the elections, brave Iranians were far more determined to tell the world and the regime, again, that they are tired, and are on the verge of achieving their much longed-for change.

If air atrikes will set the Iranian nuclear program back one to two years, then they are not worth it, because when we subtract the 6 to 12 months it would take Iran to make a bomb at their present capability, we have only bought ourselves 1 to 1.5 years.
Already added, with the Saudis and Afgans on the terrorist FBI list, now we have to add a list of Iranians, and start worrying about Iranian covert operations on this continent for the next 40 years?.
The purpose of air strikes, then, is to significantly damage the Iranian nuclear program so that it would take Iran a sizable period of time to bring its nuclear program back to its present capability (say 6 to 12 months away from a bomb).
