 OtakuBoards - dragon ball shows
let's see, there are 153 (original japanese) episodes in Dragon Ball; 291(original japanese) episodes of Dragon Ball Z; 64 (original japanese) episodes of Dragon Ball GT.
But remember there will not be 291 american episodes because when those jerks at Saban owned Dragonballz they cut 14 to 16 FULL EPISODES from the Saiyan and Frieza saga!
so it would be around 280 episodes for Dragonballz.

 Dragon Ball Z -
In 2005, Cartoon Network started showing the uncut and unedited version of the first two seasons of Dragon Ball Z, similar to the Japanese original, although the English version features a new darker opening theme, whereas the original Japanese themes were cheerful in tone and had bright, colorful animations.
The main character of Dragon Ball Z, Son Gokū, is often compared to the DC Comics hero Superman, due to their outward similarities in origins (as redefined in DBZ) and abilities.
Scenes featuring Lunch also are restored; she was edited out of 4 episodes of the older version, because only the first 13 episodes of Dragon Ball had been dubbed at the time in which she did not appear.

 Dragon Ball GT -
Dragon Ball GT (Japanese: ドラゴンボールGT Doragon Bōru Jī Tī) is the sequel to the anime Dragon Ball Z, but is the only series that is not based on a manga by Akira Toriyama.
The English adaptation of Dragon Ball GT ran on Cartoon Network between 2003 and 2005, but the version by FUNimation had a major alteration: the first 16 episodes of the series, the "Black Star Dragon Ball Saga", were cut and replaced by a single US-only "recap" episode which became the new series premiere.
Dragon Ball GT began on Fuji TV at 7:30 pm on Wednesday, February 7, 1996, exactly one week after the final episode of Dragon Ball Z.
