In the Boing Boing post linking to this wikipedia article on the origins of leetspeak, I saw something I thought was unusual: it was claimed that “kekeke” was a Korean equivalent of “hahaha”.
The future’s so open and wide… but it seems to me this century will test the limits of our ability to predict anything in the short term, not just the medium and long term.
There’s a piece in the Guardian that was recommended to be by my co-worker Jim, but which slipped my mind until I found the link to the article again on Dan Drezner’s page.
