As it stands now, if an individual, company or municipality wants to kill geese because they feel they are a problem, all they have to do is get two permits: one from USFWS, and one from their state wildlife agency.
What is eupehmistically referred to as "processing" is the horror that these very sensitive birds must endure in watching their family members having knives jammed in their throats or their necks broken.
