It is becoming increasingly evident that in some African states some presidents’ wants to rule for life, and when eventually they are forced to hand over power to an elected successor, such presidents can’t co-exist with their successors.
If presidents Biya and Bongo were to hand over power to elected successors and not their children they will definitely be asked to give an account of the over 20 years in power.
President Kufuor promised to tackle corruption head on in his “Zero Tolerance for corruption” speech and Ghanaians are expecting him to rid Ghana of corruption.
