Scrubs is presented in a non-pretentious full frame aspect ratio (1.33:1) preserving the original network exhibition of the show.
For the most part, the episodes are of consistent broadcast quality, although occasional instances of grain or image deterioration pop up to make you wonder just how far apart two angles in one sequence were shot.
But by and large all of the episodes fully satisfy one's need to see the color and clarity of the characters' travails, whether they're featherweight sight gags or building bits that pay off across several episodes.

"Scrubs": The series could make it on my list merely based on the superb "My Screwup" episode that aired last February (that's the one where Brendan Fraser's character died), but this offbeat and often surprisingly poignant show is unlike any sitcom on television.

US sitcoms are often characterised by long series runs of 20 or more episodes, whereas the British sitcom is traditionally comprised of distinct series of six episodes each.
Each episode unfolds through short comedic sketches rather than a conventional sitcom plot, but unlike a true sketch series, the sketches always draw from a single set of characters and no actor plays more than one role.

 3BlackChicks Review™... SCRUBS - TV (Bams)
The key to understanding Scrubs is that it is often so over-the-top, filled with such broad humor, that if you don't find yourself laughing out loud at it within the first few minutes of watching any of the episodes, you probably won't ever Get It.
To be sure, there are episodes when all the silly sound effects, all the corny sight gags, all the rather childish pranks and humor, make you want to say "bring it down a notch, Tevye".
From my seat, Scrubs is the funniest show on TV these days; hell, I haven't laughed harder, louder, or longer, since Frasier was still laugh-out-loud funny.
