Presently, although Ohio is the 7th largest state, it is impossible to obtain detailed records of floor and committee debates or even of floor votes.
I talked to Ohio House 35th District candidate Karen J. Adams and Ohio Senate 7th District candidate Rick Smith after the event, and they were both very upbeat about the effect that the unity and excitement of this event would have on both the senate race and other Democratic campaigns in their area.
The mood was very upbeat and I enjoyed talking to Southwest Ohio Democrats that I probably otherwise would not get to meet, such as 2nd Congressional District primary candidate Thor Jacobs, 29th Ohio House District candidate Brent Gray, and Hamilton County Democratic Party Executive Director Chandra Yungbluth and her new assistant, Graves Spindler.

House Bill 276, introduced by Rep. Jimmy Stewart of Athens, was criticized originally by LGBT youth advocates because it didn’t list characteristics for which students are often bullied, including sexual orientation and gender identity.
Lynne Bowman, executive director of Equality Ohio, expressed concern over Seitz’ second amendment, noting that she had two attorneys examining it to determine the effect it will have on the law.
