In contrast, the elevation list file really needs accurate locations, as these essentially replace points in the DEM data, and it is therefore these locations that become the official summit locations in the output.
Other expected differences included elevations in the DEMs that exceed surveyed summit elevations (sometimes in locations a few hundred meters away), but these are all addressed via elevation corrections in the elevation list file.
UTM682547 fell off the list because RidgeWalker found a point 4132m high on the west end of the summit ridge, 200m away from where the high point (4129m) is marked on the quad.

 SDNHM Floristic List for Fish Creek Mountains, Imperial County
This floristic list is for a canyon on the east-side of the Fish Creek Mountains in west-central Imperial County that was visited on 19 April 2000.
There is no question that after some good rains, the floristic list for this area may double or even triple in size.
Although it is a very dry year, the upper parts of the canyon contain a few annuals that are flowering including Mohavea confertiflora, Camissonia cardiophylla, and various species of Phacelia; plus, many of the perennials of the canyon and the lower bajada are also in flower such as Prosopis glandulosa, Larrea tridentata, and Hyptis emoryi.

 Great Smoky Mountains National Park - Camping

 Origins of the Arizona Mountain Range High Points List
The 7.5 minute topo maps were not all completed by the USGS when Kasian did his map research so a 15 minute map is given for the location of many summits.
The method used for this list is to choose all named ranges shown on the 7.5 minute maps with the designations: Ranges, Mountains (plural), and Sierra.
The Kaibab Mountains and the Oro Blanco Mountains were deleted since these are poorly defined and no mention of these names appears on the latest maps.

I think the highest elevations in metro Austin are in the vicinity of the Balcones Canyonlands NWR and Travis Peak, in far NW Travis County (near Lago Vista).

Here is the coordinates submitted by a visitor for Indiana: 40 00 06N/84 50 93W.
Some mountains (particularly Mount Washington, NH, and Mauna Kea, HI) can be much more inaccessible than their rating would indicate based on this sort.
