After 20 years of untiring effort and with the emergence of the democratic system, the scout movement was re-established in 1995, and it was only in 2002, during the WOSM World Conference in Greece, that the Association was re-admitted to the World Organisation of the Scout Movement.
The Branch of the St.Georges Guild in Sydney, Australia, are organising a party of members from around New South Wales, to visit the UK and Brownsea Island, July/Aug to see the Centenary Celebrations.

 WOSM World Scout Conferences
The conference's purpose is to promote unity, integrity and development of the Scout Movement worldwide, by formulating policy, facilitating information exchange and considering reports and recommendations from members.
The first Conference was held in London, England in 1920, and the first philatelic item was created for the 14th WSC in 1953 in Liechtenstein.

The Strategic Plan of ISGF indicates three Objectives which are: strengthening existing fellowships, supporting the creation new fellowships at home and in new countries, identifying and activating opportunities and actions for support and service towards national and international communities.
The World Committee will have to: • make a list of the tasks and to distribute them to the different members according to their wish, to their skills, to their available time (rejuvenation means younger members and some of the new members may still have a professional activity)

All participants were registered members of WOSM Scout units and were at least 12 years old or at least 11½ years old and had completed the sixth grade in school by August 1, 2004.
All Boy Scouts of America participants were required to wear full official BSA uniforms including shirt, shorts, socks, and belt, at the opening and closing ceremonies and at campwide campfires, and participants from other Scout associations were expected to wear their uniforms at those events.
Cost: For each WOSM member country outside of the United States and Canada, there was no fee for the camporee itself, including tents, food and cooking equipment, for one patrol of up to 8 youth and 2 adult leaders.
