ZX Spectrum - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Sinclair ZX Spectrum was a home computer released in the United Kingdom in 1982 by Sinclair Research.
Several peripherals for the Spectrum were marketed by Sinclair: the printer was already on the market, as the Spectrum had retained the protocol for the ZX81's printer.
Complex loaders with unusual speeds or encoding were the basis of the ZX Spectrum copy prevention schemes, although other methods were used including asking for a particular word from the documentation included with the game - often a novella - or the notorious Lenslok system.

Although the case reads "ZX Spectrum +2", the +2A/B is easily distinguishable from the original +2 as the case was restored to the standard Spectrum fl.
The Spectrum was the first mainstream audience home computer in the UK, similar in significance to the Commodore 64 in the USA (the C64 also being the main rival to the Spectrum in the UK market).

Timex Sinclair 2048 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Timex Sinclair 2048 was an enhanced version of the Sinclair ZX Spectrum computer.
The TS2048 retained the 2068's improved ULA and enhanced graphics modes, and had a built-in Kempston-compatible joystick interface, but in most other respects resembled the basic Spectrum: no sound chip and only 48KB of memory.
It was later brought into production by the Portuguese division of Timex under the name "Timex Computer 2048" and today forms the basis of Andrew Owen's enhanced Spectrum-compatible machine, the Spectrum SE.

 Encyclopedia: Dubna 48K
Dubna 48K is a Soviet clone of ZX Spectrum home computer.
However, Dubna 48K and many other Z80 clones, hopelessly outdated by that time, were largely introduced in high schools of Soviet Union.
Moreover, most of the games for Z80 were already available for Nintendo's 8-bit game console, marketed in Russia under the brand "Dandy", and it was much cheaper, more reliable and easier way of playing games, so it became clear that Dubna 48K wasn't in much demand for home users.
