 Made in the U.S.S.R.
Soviet air power surpassed the Luftwaffe to become the most lethal tactical air arm of World War II, employing fighters and ground attack craft organized into vast air armies as part of the general offensive against Germany in 1944 and 1945.
Their development was already in motion on the eve of Operation Barbarossa, the 1941 Nazi invasion of Russia, and the head start allowed the Soviet air force to rebound from the disasters of that year, when most of its air arm was destroyed in place.
By 1954, the Tu-4 fleet was gradually being dismantled, and the U.S. bomber was scrapped along with it.

Regardless of the specific model, low-tech aircraft feature favorable operating and procurement economics, and their relatively simple systems mean that a developing country can field a viable air arm without depleting its national treasury.
An air arm equipped according to its needs and national capabilities can not only contribute to nation building in the field, but also to the very foundation of the society it serves.
Nonetheless, a properly equipped air arm that serves its police, army, and civil authorities and that follows doctrine designed to offset the methods of unconventional warfare can assist greatly in preventing the growth of insurgency.

The Avro Anson was a twin-engine, multi-role aircraft that served with the Royal Air Force, Fleet Air Arm and numerous other air forces during World War II and afterwards.
However it was rescued from obscurity by its suitability as a multi-engine air crew trainer, becoming the mainstay of the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan.
In addition to training pilots for flying multi-engine bombers such as the Avro Lancaster, the Anson was used to train the other members of a bomber's air crew, such as navigator, wireless operator, bombardier and air-gunners.

 FAIREY SWORDFISH FACTS AND INFORMATION
It was operated as a primary attack aircraft into 1942, and not retired until 1945.
The problems with the aircraft were starkly demonstrated in February 1942 when a strike on German cruisers in the English_Channel resulted in the loss of all attacking aircraft.
With the development of new torpedo attack aircraft the Swordfish was soon redeployed in an anti-submarine role, equipped with depth-charges or ten 60 lb (27 kg) RP-3rockets and flying from the smaller escort_carriers or even Merchant Aircraft Carriers with RATO.

The Fleet Air Arm Museum is the Royal Navy's aviation museum located about 125 miles west of London, near Yeovil, which is somewhat off the beaten track.
It's a large museum and there's a huge list of the aircraft that they've got, unfortunately it's arranged so that each letter of the alphabet has a separate page, making it slow and painful to move through the list.
The list of aircraft by designation is probably a better way of navigating around, but it's also arbitrarily split into multiple pages.

 Fleet Air Arm Museum
The Fleet Air Arm museum houses a very large and well presented collection of aircraft and memorabilia.
One curious feature of the aircraft display halls is the extremely poor lighting used to illuminate the aircraft.
This is especially apparent in the World War Two gallery where virtually all of the aircraft have their wings folded back and are parked so close together that is impossible to step back and appreciate each one without colliding with another aircraft or disappearing into the gloom.

Because from the acquisitions revealed to us it seems that as far as aircraft in the medium lift category is concerned the PAF is looking at inducting surplus aircrafts due to iteing cost effective and relatively quick to put into operation i.e.
It's great to see PAF augment its airlift/transport capacity but having 5 different types of aircraft in a fleet this size has got be a burden with regards to maintenance and training.
I would think a strong transport fleet is crucial given the fact that india's primary goal in any full scale war will be cutting off north south transport routes near the sindh-punjab border.
