This means that you can, for example, remove an album from the list of albums, then add it back again at a later time, and none of the data you had entered will be lost in the process.
If an album other than the first album is selected, you will be asked whether you want to start the process at that album, or at the first album in the list.
The Lists of Albums window is always listed first, followed by the Photo Album window (if it is open), the Fullsize View window (if it is open), the About window (if it is open), the Help window (if it open) and the Preferences window (if it is open).

Top Ten Albums on Which the Sequencing Is Lost on CD - Staff Top 10 - Stylus Magazine
Below is a list of albums which, when heard on CD, lose a bit of their character.
There are a few albums about which it could be argued that vinyl is a hindrance, and that the sequencing might be different had the artist not been forced to break up certain songs due to time restrictions.
Had the album been released five years later, this would have been called "new wave." On Side B Bowie and Eno let their synth jones run free, creating a suite of droning, percussion-free mood pieces.

The band put these “outtakes” aside and released eleven of them on an album only seven months later, calling it “Amnesiac.” Fans were shocked—Radiohead had promised a return to their guitar-oriented sound on the follow up to “Kid A”.
It is the longest track on the album, and should be, as it is a tremendous mood piece.
Overall, this album is very hit and miss, but the highlights are so incredible that it easily earns an 8½.

The Band   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-11-03)
Because their influences ranged widely, from familiar genres like rock 'n' roll, R & B, and the blues, to less fashionable sources like folk, bluegrass, country-western, and ragtime, the Band could draw on the entire history of American popular music in a way that no other rockers had the depth to do.
In 1975 a set of eight Band tracks (almost an album's worth) were hidden in the official release of the Basement Tapes, the group's widely bootlegged 1967 double album with Bob Dylan.
His last solo album before the Band reformed without Robertson and turned into a small-time oldies act, confusingly lacking a title like his 1978 record because (presumably) it was his only Capitol release.

Quite simply, the band's seventh full-length LP is destined to be an obscure classic, an album that brilliantly captures and depicts the loneliness and resentment of present-day America.
More importantly, the entire album — while a genre hopper — is focused: the riffs are tight and the vocals impassioned.
All the rage in Britain, this debut album from the duo of brother-sister pairs deftly mixes sunny '60s California harmonies and folky guitar jangle with the epic melancholy of today's British rock.

Second, the original album only had a handful of tracks, and half of them were not really from the concert, they were recorded in the studio the next day, complete with dubbed-on announcements and crowd noise to make it sound live.
The result is an excellent live album, and a good single disc introduction to the Basie band sound of the 30's and 50's, his two classic periods.
This album, which LL calls their best studio album, is worth checking out, and would make a good substitute, it contains studio recordings of some of the same pieces.

Different types of flamenco albums exist: most standard are albums with a singer in the main role, accompanied by one or more guitarists.
Also very common are guitar solo albums, sometimes these include some singing, either one or two pieces dedicated to the cante, or cante is used as an instrument, for instance in the intro of a piece.

 B.G. Albums
It's easy to focus on Boris' two monumentally disappointing English-language albums, but a quick review of his solo catalog provides all the evidence we need: the man is a freakish genius of modern music.
But even without Russkii, Boris' three later Russian-language non-Akvarium albums display mastery of the traditional Russian romance singer mode (A. Vertinskogo), that same mode keyed up and toyed with (Chubchik), and a grand mix of that and other modes filtered through the Western "grown up roots rocker" mode (Lilit).
Dzhulia's yoni modulates air to comment: Russians say the lyrics on this album are better than ever, but I think it has some serious accessibility problems for Americans who, at some point in their young lives, were overexposed to the Band's fat guitar-and-organ sound.

These 100 albums were selected by the readers of Q Magazine from a poll in the January 2003 issue.
I can list dozens of reasons why this list is a joke at best (a felony at worst), but I will summarize by stating that its author is obviously a pathetic little pot-head who never got over the first half of the nineties, and must have inherited Q magazine from his UK-centric family.

Many of the album's best songs beam with simple joy, but beneath the cartoonish playfulness lie deep-seated fears about the mortality of all things, from butterflies and cherry blossoms to the people we love the most.
But that's because both albums exist out of time, in a place without genre or era.
Of course, there are twinges of Nick Drake in Bunyan's sound, but her fine ribbon of a voice unfurls across the bed of guitars, recorders, glockenspiels, and Joanna Newsom's harp, and the results aren't really like anything-- folk or otherwise.
