Time Warner Inc. and Comcast Corp. said they are exploring a potential joint bid for Adelphia Communications Corp., the troubled cable company that put itself on the block as part of a Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceeding.
The Wall Street Journal reported Monday that Comcast, the nation's No. 1 cable operator, and No. 2 Time Warner Cable would bid for all of Adelphia, the fifth-largest cable operator in the United States, measured by the number of subscribers.
Representatives from Time Warner and Comcast confirmed the companies are considering a joint bid for Adelphia, but declined to comment further.

There was never the ability of a trust to own an IRA; you'll see it on the Schedule A attached to some trust agreements but it's not a valid transfer.
