Rogers, Connecticut, July 27, 2006: Rogers Corporation (NYSE:ROG) announced today that net sales in the second quarter were again an all-time quarterly record of $104.8 million, up 24% compared to the $84.6 million sold in the second quarter of 2005.
Rogers operates manufacturing facilities in Connecticut, Arizona, and Illinois in the U.S., in Gent, Belgium, in Suzhou, China, and in Hwasung City, Korea.
Rogers believes that net income from continuing operations and diluted earnings per share, excluding the effect of any asset impairment or unusual event, is a measure that should be presented in addition to income determined in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and is useful to investors.

 Money - Yamaha buys rights to Rogers Drum Co. at bankruptcy auction
Yamaha Corp. of America in Buena Park said Thursday that it purchased the rights to the legendary Rogers Drum Co. at the bankruptcy auction of Brook Mays Music Co. The purchase price was not disclosed.
Rogers, founded 157 years ago, made drums used by musicians Buddy Rich and Ed Shaughnessy, drummer for "The Tonight Show" during Johnny Carson's reign.
Budget Blinds was also on the 2005 list, which had a total of 12 Orange County companies.
