“Jurassic Park 3” is not your typical Jurassic Park entry.
However the lulls in between attacks lacked the compassion and scientific debate that the characters in the first two films had.
I loved the first two films and this film will be a great collector’s piece to conclude the Jurassic Park trilogy but I can't say it’s in the same company as the first two entries.

Filmtracks: Jurassic Park III (Don Davis)
Jurassic Park III: (Don Davis) Eight years after John Williams' dynamic and thematic score for the original Jurassic Park stunned audiences with its sweeping majesty, the franchise of Jurassic Park continues on to a third installment.
In the end, though, the most impressive aspect of Davis' score is the careful interpretation of the two main Jurassic Park themes into his score for Jurassic Park 3, not to mention the statement of three or so subthemes of Williams', and an entirely new theme to represent the new characters.
Jurassic Park 3 often sounds flat in those performances, which is surprising, because its recording location was the Newman Scoring Stage at 20th Century Fox, where Jerry Goldsmith has recently recorded some of the best sounding scores of all time.

BFI | Features | The Ultimate Film Chart | 15: JURASSIC PARK
The narrative motor of Jurassic Park is the overlap of irreconcilable agendas: the creation and ultimate failure of the theme park requires the input of caring palaeontologists, wide-eyed children, Frankensteinian genetic engineers, chaos doomsayers, "bloodsucking lawyers', ferocious predators and a fatherly multi-millionaire.
Jurassic Park will be seen by millions for its effects alone, and the combination of puppetwork and animation certainly goes beyond the previous high water marks of Willis H. O'Brien's King Kong or Ray Harryhausen's The Valley of Gwangi.
Like Jurassic Park, Jurassic Park is ultimately unable safely to contain its attractions, but the dinosaurs are still magnificent: the tyrannosaurus attack during a night storm, a fleeing herd of gallimimuses, the gremlin-like collared dilophosaurus cautiously killing its prey and the game of velociraptor hide-and-seek must stand as definitive.

Movie Goodness Review - Jurassic Park III
To bring us back to the Jurassic Park islands, a couple's son gets stranded on one of the Jurassic islands while paragliding with a friend.
The desperate parents track down Dr. Grant (who survived the initial Jurassic Park) and feed him a bogus story about an adventure trip (plus offer him a lot of money to boot) in order to use his expertise to track down their son and save him.
There's a decent collection of humorous characters for the human factor, great tension is developed throughout the movie's action, and the filming style used the blend the shots and scenes together is quite clever.

 Jurassic Park
Jurassic Park is a novel written by Michael Crichton and published in 1991, which was later adapted as a movie directed by Steven Spielberg.
The character of John Hammond is distinctly different - in the book he ultimately dies at the jaws of small dinosaurs ("compys") while trying to climb a hill to his bungalow with a broken ankle, with plans to rebuild somewhere else, and irritation at his guests and grandchildren.
The theme park rides themselves are stand alone in the aspect of the rider experience as they ignore previous cautionary tales in an effort to reconstruct John Hammond's park and send visitors on a thrilling journey that includes dangerously escaping menacing raptors and the T.Rex herself.

Jurassic Park III offers a simple story that takes the viewer into a Costa Rican island, the new home of the deadly monsters.
In spite of the mediocre special effects of its initial scenes (where shots of a plane or of a child gliding in the air are ineffectively juxtaposed against real backgrounds), the realism of the dinosaurs is heightened by fear-inspiring sound effects and by a camera that shoots from "dangerously close" angles.

No, we don't find any terribly-compelling or well-drawn characters in the film, and the plot is essentially limited to "run from dinosaurs and try to stay alive"; there's little in the way of character development or intrigue beyond the adrenaline-pumping thrills of the action scenes.

Spielberg's movie version of Jurassic Park became a child's fantasy about dinosaurs, and while the movie does address genetic engineering, it quickly tossed the question out of the window and went for cool dinosaurs, running from dinosaurs, and fighting dinosaurs instead.

Jurassic's science-run-amok narrative saw is certainly focused, tried and true, but it loses its punch — particularly in its first hour — with repeated viewings.
Giving Jurassic's T-rex and raptor sequences their full and deserved due, there's a special place in my heart for Lost World's trailer-over-the-cliff bit, in which two tyrannosaurs menace a man trying to keep a giant rig from sliding into the drink, even as the rig's occupants dangle and fuss.
