In honor of its large American Indian population, and for tourism purposes, Oklahoma is called "Native America." Oklahoma's early history is intertwined with the Trail of Tears, which was the forced removal of the Five Civilized Tribes from the southeastern United States to present-day Oklahoma.
Due to Oklahoma's restrictive ballot access laws (deemed by many to be the most restrictive in the nation), third parties have very limited access to the primary ballots, however the state does have the following active third parties: Oklahoma Libertarian Party, Green Party of Oklahoma, Oklahoma Constitution Party.
The center of population of Oklahoma is located in Lincoln County, in the town of Sparks [3].
