		Abolished in 1899 and annexed to Webb County.

	FEMA: Seven More Counties Eligible For Disaster Assistance
		San Antonio, TX -- Callahan, Duval, Jim Wells, Live Oak, McMullen, San Patricio and Zavala counties have been added to the list of Texas counties eligible for federal disaster assistance as a result of the Texas Floods of 2002, which began on June 29.
		The designation means that residents of the seven counties are eligible to apply for disaster assistance, which could include disaster housing assistance, low-interest loans to repair or replace storm-damaged property or grants for serious needs and necessary expenses not met by other programs.
		The addition of these counties brings to 31 the number of Texas counties eligible for the individual assistance program.
