Smaller countries in the Coalition were labelled "token" allies, and ulterior motives were ascribed to various Coalition Governments, despite the respective governments outlining highly plausible reasons for their participation.
The "per 100,000 population" column was calculated by dividing the number of troops by the country's population, then multiplying by 100,000.
The list of countries in the Coalition of the Willing is particularly interesting because of the patterns it doesn't produce, and the under-reported patterns it does.

Of course, you could argue that the 2-D graphics are just a result of a limited budget and are behind the times, but I tend to think the choice was a conscious one.
The graphics are sharp and defined, but the menus could have been better designed: there is too much clicking involved to access certain aspects of the game (such as puzzle deletion).
There is a whole list of things that goes into determining the winner of a particular battle (leader bonuses, rate of fire, terrain, weather, supply, range, morale, posture, and luck) and I haven’t encountered any anomalies in the results that would discourage players of the game.

The biographical list of folk like Azzedine Alaia at the back missed out from the main text might have made a better book plan.
