Among the countries projected to fall into the water stress category before 2025 is India (1990 annual per capita water availability: 2,464 cubic meters), currently the second most populous country in the world with nearly 900 million people.

One would expect that the people would be well versed in mundane practice of fixing flats, and that these "sidewalk-garages" would be concerned with more sophisticated repairs such as adjustingheadsets/repacking hubs, etc...Instead, these "mechanics" spent most of their time fixing the lowly problem of airlessness.
We've argued several times on the list and on rec.bicycles if the flexing is a "bend" or a "twist" but whatever it is it's important.
