I would like to point out that the base they had with C97 was good, why did they have to go completely away from that.
Cricket 97 was developed by a totally different company Beam as opposed to Creative Assembly.

We had a fella a couple of years back(ex cricketer) and he got a little tipsy on a plane one trip and got himself into a little trouble on landing.
A lot of these commentators are ex-players who have a vast knowledge of the game, and are quick to make assesments, but for a fellow who has been out of the game for so long, he won't run a player down.
Botham on the other hand is abysmal for a wide variety of reasons which are too numerous to list, the Sky Sports cricket team on the whole are pretty poor with possibly the exception of David Lloyd who isn't bad.
