All-Star weekend, for this year at least, is going to be a celebration of U.S. Soccer, encompassing everyone from the current MLS Stars, to current U.S. stars, and even stars from the past nearing the twilight of their careers.
While some players selected will no doubt use this game as their testimonial, or farewell, match in a U.S. uniform, there are others who are going to try to capitalize on the opportunity.
It's not possible to give every one of these players a testimonial match, but at the very least, they deserve to share this moment with the young guns like Donovan and Beasley, who are just at the tip of the iceberg with their potential.
