  Tennis
Tennis (occasionally called "lawn tennis" to distinguish it from royal tennis, an obscure indoor game) is a racquet sport played between either two players (singles) or two teams of two players (doubles).
Tennis is played on a 78' x 27' (78' x 36' for doubles) court, which is divided in the middle by a net, such as that each side measures 39' in length.
Players attempt to hit a tennis ball with a tennis racquet such that it bounces in the opposition's side of the court and the opposition is unable to return it.

Talk:List of female movie actors (A-K) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Ya gotta love the fact that we don't have a "List of actresses" because that would be sexist, but we're ok with a "List of female movie actors".
I suggest that we have List of actors and actresses, and then split it up by surname and by nationality, similar to List of people by name and List of people by nationality.
By having separate lists for separate countries, that person would be able to browse lists of the people they were interested in without needing to bias the main list towards any particular nationalities.

In some places, tennis is still called lawn tennis, to distinguish it from real tennis (also known as royal tennis or court tennis), an older form of the game that is played indoors on a very different kind of a court.
Tennis is now an Olympic sport that is played at all levels of society and by all ages in many countries around the world.
Tennis comes from the French tenez, the imperative form of the verb tenir, to hold: This was a cry used by the player serving in royal tennis, meaning "I am about to serve!" (rather like the cry "Fore!" in golf).

Tennis 2k2, as the sequel has been christened, appears poised to take the best elements from Virtua Tennis and combine them with at least some of what was missing to create what should be an even better tennis experience this year.
Once again, sixteen tennis players make the cut, although it's important to keep in mind that half of them are male and the other half female this season.
The player models also appear much improved, although whether that's due to actual changes in the art, or merely the presence of the female models to serve as a contrast to their male counterparts remains to be seen (my vote is a little of both).
