Scollay Square redux with good service - The Boston Globe
On a block drenched in history, the restaurant's fl wrought-iron fencing fits right in, and the interior is lined with blown-up photographs of the curved brick buildings and gaudy signs of the old Scollay Square.
The wine list, heavy on California and Australia, is varied enough, matched well to the cuisine, and fairly priced, but not exceptional.
Restaurants reviewed by the Globe's regular critic, Alison Arnett, are rated on a scale of one to four stars, four being the highest.

The nicely chosen wine list offers a refreshing prosecco and some affordable South American pours alongside those from Italy, and there’s a patio in front for outdoor dining, though with that oven roaring this place may be at its best as a warm winter retreat.
Judging by the cartoony logo and the heavyhanded, slightly risque puns sprinkled throughout the laminated menu, the fictional Mary at the helm of this San Francisco-founded burger franchise is rather a blowsy old tart.
The house salad is a tempting one of greens with figs, pistachios, and blue cheese; another salad pairs the restaurant’s namesake, fresh hearts of palm, with napa cabbage in a zesty vinaigrette (hearts of palm also turn up in bruschetta and as an entree, grilled and served with fl beans and plantains).

Metroblogging Los Angeles: Some Vegan Restaurants in LA Not Vegan??
I think the grandma of all these restaurants, Vegan Express, changed ownership (within the family), but the original owner (I think her name is Pia) was pretty careful about this stuff.
If the restaurants aren't willing to take steps to change things, I do think the word needs to get out, and that some pressure needs to be applied to these restaurants (maybe flyering outside the restaurants, organized boycotts, etc.).
That is pretty vague, since there may be restaurants with "vegan" in the name which aren't connected to this group (can't think of any off the top of my head, though Native Foods has "California Vegan" as its tag line, and actually claims to have a trademark on it).

A common literary device is to posit a faster-than-light propulsion system (such as warp drive) or travel through hyperspace, although some starship stories have their craft outfitted for centuries-long journeys of slower-than-light travel.
Fiction that discusses slower-than-light starships is relatively rare, since the time scales are so long.
Warships contain crew quarters, extensive weaponry and shielding, massive engines, sophisticated sensor and communications arrays, and usually a detachment of non-naval soldiers trained in assaulting and capturing enemy spacecraft, targets on planetary surfaces, or both.
