I stay in Maharashtra which has no football culture, so to say and a much stronger cricket culture (the Tendulkars, Gavaskars y’know) but it was just that we had to play the game - because we did not have a choice because we weren’t allowed to play cricket on our ground in school.

the channel in india for live premiership football is ESPN, it seems whenever i leave for india my team - newcastle start winning all the time.
i found a match in a jaipur newspaper between jaipur u18's and cochin u18's for a place in the last eight of the all-india u18's, so got back to jaipur early to find no rickshaw driver knew where SMS Stadium was, also could not find it on the map.
