		MLS will continue to struggle luring players in their prime to MLS because the international perception of the league is still a few notches below Europe's top leagues.
		Some MLS teams are taking the extra step of heading to South America in search of undiscovered talent, as well as hoping to buy players who are either just below Europe's radar or are at points in their careers when Europe just isn't calling anymore (as D.C. United did with Christian Gomez).
		Truth is MLS has enough trouble scouting its own country, let alone places like Brazil and Argentina, where foreign clubs have already picked at the talent to the point that some places look like a supermarket the day before a hurricane.

		Brazil for players with sheer skill, ability and willingness to attack, and France for coaches, youth development systems and methodology (assuming we are going to have some youth development in the A-League in future), and tactical acumen.
		The FFA should have someone identify a list of foreign stars for next year from which either the clubs select, or are granted a player, as happens in the MLS.
		Remember the foreign players are key not just to club and league marketing, but to our future as youngsters around the country emulate their play.
