Heard on Paul Harvey News today -- the highest paid position in ML Baseball is not pitcher or shortstop; it is DH, with an average of $6.2 million per year!
A lot of DH's are veteran players, often All-Stars, who have had big contracts and are winding down their careers.
You almost never see young players, with smaller contracts, at DH.
