Language - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The historical record of the study of language begins in North India with Pāṇini, the 5th century BCE grammarian who formulated 3,959 rules of Sanskrit morphology, known as the Aṣṭādhyāyī (अष्टाध्यायी).
Inherent in its analytic approach are the concepts of the phoneme, the morpheme, and the root; the phoneme was only recognized by Western linguists some two millennia later.

The Common Chimpanzee (Pan troglodytes) is a great ape.Colloquially, it is often called the "chimpanzee" (or simply "chimp"), though technically this term refers to both species in the genus Pan : the Common Chimpanzee and the closely-related Bonobo,or Pygmy Chimpanzee.
Common Chimpanzees are found in the tropical forests and wet savannahs of Western and Central Africa.

Although chimps differ somewhat from humans in their ability to discriminate hues in the yellow and red regions of the spectrum (Grether, 1940a; Riesen, 1970), their visible spectrum is at least as extensive as humans' (Grether, 1940b).
Chimpanzees are also known to exhibit "emotional" states comparable to those of humans (Yerkes, 1943; Goodall, 1986; King, 1995).

 The Psychogenic Theory of History
It is the first social theory that posits love as the central mechanism for historical change-not because I happen to value love as an exemplary trait, but because the clinical, experimental and social sciences of the past century have shown that love produces the individuation needed for human innovation-that is, for cultural evolution.
It is also the first theory that recognizes the values of methodological individualism-seeing properties of groups as a result of the actions of its individual members-yet that also recognizes group evolution, integrating the psychology of individuals and societies and recognizing that social behavior also has emotional sources.
It is only when we begin to recognize the ubiquity of these delusional historical group-fantasies that our personal responsibility begins to return to us-reading the newspaper, watching the nightly news and much of daily life becomes both more painful and more meaningful as empathy returns to our social lives.

It is not intended that the references in the ''Special rules'' column list all the regulations of the two Services which might apply to the species or to the regulations of other Federal agencies or State or local governments.
For example, the genus Hylobates (gibbons) is listed as Endangered throughout its entire range (China, India, and SE Asia); consequently, all species, subspecies, and populations of that genus are considered listed as Endangered for the purposes of the Act.

In all likelihood, the earliest tools employed by humankind for crushing or grinding seeds, nuts, and other food-stuffs consisted of little more than a flat rock, upon which the material was crushed by pounding with a stone or tree branch.
Indeed, "wild" chimpanzees have been observed employing just such flat rocks and branches to open hard-shelled nuts.

Trying to chronofile the ancient historical events relevant to the eventual western world's orientation to its theosophic roots without admitting certain events that come from far and wide would be like trying to provide a history of the 'American Spirit' without a role of Europe, Hispanola and the indigenous tribal-indian people of the main continent.

However, ''the cognitive prerequisite for the emergence of language is the ability to understand fully intentionality, causality and the mental states of conspecifics'' (95), an ability shared by humans and chimpanzees.
For instance, Povinelli (2000) has argued that chimpanzees not only do not have the same folk physics and theory of mind as we do, but do not seem to be able to acquire the concepts underlying these cognitive abilities in human.
What is more, it is not obvious that the structure of the adult brain as well as its activation as recorded in brain-scan studies can tell much about what would or would not be specific to language or about what is or is not innate in language acquisition.
