Shortly after our feature was published, Microsoft removed Deception from the backwards compatibility list in the December 2005 update, stating quality issues.

So you would think it would be listed on the Microsoft site as a compatible player...
I would think that many people looking to buy a PlayForSure enabled DAP would go here to check that the player is PlayForSure.
However if you do search for it on www.playforsure.com it is listed as a player, so thats just Microsoft being inconsistant.
