 Planets in science fiction -
Planets may be treated in different ways depending both on the interests of the author and the genre he or she is writing in.
Such a planet will be described from the point of view of a person dwelling on it, rather than from the point of view of an outside observer: the fiction may describe its geography, its history, and the social and cultural characteristics of its civilizations.

And in Foundation And Empire, it is possible to chart a path through the dense galactic core, but it requires extra time to make sure the ship does not accidentally hit any stars.
As the outside of the ship does not technically exist, it is easy for the vessel to move quickly throughout the universe as it does not have to observe the rules regarding the speed of light.

 Panpsychism
Unsurprisingly, each of the key terms, “mind”, “fundamental” and “throughout the universe” is subject to a variety of interpretations by panpsychists, leading to a range of possible philosophical positions.
Such positions have lost much of their philosophical attractiveness and there can be little doubt that the primary reason for this radical change of philosophical opinion is that a principled separation of mind and matter precludes any deep integration of mind with the ever expanding and ever more powerful scientific picture of the physical world.
To follow this line of thought even further, the decoherence argument evidently collapses for the universe as a whole, which by definition cannot be disturbed by any outside force, so presumably the total universe is in one immensely complex entangled state.

Minor Greek Gods and Goddesses - Crystalinks
Beliefs regarding Gaia vary, ranging from the common Wiccan belief that Gaia is the Earth (or in some cases the spiritual embodiment of the earth, or the Goddess of the Earth), to the broader Neopagan belief that Gaia is the goddess of all creation, a Mother Goddess from which all other gods spring.
Gaia is sometimes thought to embody the planets and the Earth, and sometimes thought to embody the entire universe.
Worship of Gaia is varied, ranging from prostration to druidic ritual.Unlike Zeus, a roving nomad god of the open sky, Gaia was manifest in enclosed spaces: the house, the courtyard, the womb, the cave.

 The Nine Planets Glossary
the inclination of a planet's orbit is the angle between the plane of its orbit and the ecliptic; the inclination of a moon's orbit is the angle between the plane of its orbit and the plane of its primary's equator.
A superior planet is said to be "in opposition" when it is directly on the opposite side of the Earth from the Sun.
A synchronous satellite with an orbital inclination of zero (same plane as the planet's equator) stays fixed in the sky from the perspective of an observer on the planet's surface (such orbits are commonly used for communications satellites).

Synopsis Books By M H Jabbar
The genesis of religion is clearly based in lore of the starry heavens (astrology/mythology) which are, in fact, the symbolical reckonings of astronomy.
The mythical stories embodied within religious scriptures describe cosmic interactions recorded over the millennia, whereas the celestial entities are labeled as personified deities and the courses and cycles of these astronomical objects are symbolically rendered as the conflicts, unions, births and deaths of human and political types.
These correlations exist between the human species and the total universe, inclusive of the solar system, and of the Solar system to the expanded universe(infinity) The Ancients saw the universe and their immediate environment as well as the capacities embodied within their own intellect as the most trustworthy representations of the Creator God.

If advanced beings do not prevent it, probably this physical Universe will either expand and cool down until there are no temperature differences (heat death) or else collapse inward in a "Big Crunch."
