Moment of Truth Movies are a series of TV movies produced for the Lifetime cable television and movie networks during the 1990s.
A television movie (also known as a TV movie, TV-movie, feature-length drama, made-for-TV movie, movie of the week (MOTW or MOW), single drama, telemovie, telefilm, or two-hour-long drama) is a film that is produced for and originally distributed by a television network.
Serial is a term, originating in literature, for a format by which a story is told in contiguous installments in sequential issues of a single periodical publication.

List of character-based movie franchises - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This is a list of character-based movie series, in which many movies are made about the same main character, who may or may not be played by different actors.
The individual movies of a series may be produced or directed by different people over many years.
In more extreme examples, the main character may be repeatedly "killed off" and resurrected through supernatural means or other plot devices.

W&H MAIN YARDS: List of Railway Movies
The list was last modified on December 5, 1995; it was last posted on October 6, 1995, on that occasion to misc.transport.rail.americas and rec.arts.movies.past-films.
Movies of less than feature length (say 75 minutes, or somewhat less for older films) are also excluded; for example, Buster Keaton's 1965 film "The Railrodder", and the famous 1936 British doc- umentary "Night Mail", are both shorts and so not listed.
It is not a list of *realistic* movies about trains; I'm not qualified to evaluate all the technical details, but I can certainly say that many of the films have serious flaws in their depiction of railways.

 Movie-List - Reviews - Lemony Snicket's A Series Of Unfortunate Events
It isn’t called “A Series of Unfortunate Events” for nothing as the children have to take on Count Olaf on three separate adventures and meet other extremely quirky relatives like Uncle Monty (Billy Connelly) and Aunt Josephine (Meryl Streep).
For the most part, this film is a series of Jim Carrey performances as he has to assume three different but unique personalities in hoping of fooling the children.
At a quick running time, these series of events seem quite repetitive and for that it’s a shame since the cinematography, set design and performances seem to expect more.

Movie Database: Frequently Asked Questions List
The ratings list is a massive on-going electronic poll wherein users of the database rate movies on a ten point scale from 1 (bad) to 10 (good).
In August '93 the cast lists were reorganised slightly so that all the data was available to the movie database package (up until then only entries for people with a certain number of requests were available publicly).
Lists of movies (filmographies) are usually sorted into chronological order, the year used being the year that the movie was released, or in the case of long running TV-series, the year it was first broadcast.

I suspect where more money was spent on securing stars in '84 than for the sets and costume designs, the exact opposite is true for the new miniseries.
New and old fans of the tale should view and enjoy the latest version for the visuals, then go back and review the movie for the Lynchian touch, which in some odd but affecting ways came closer to Herbert's underlying messages of mysticism, miracles and seizing one's destiny than the Harrison version.
