Movies of less than feature length (say 75 minutes, or somewhat less for older films) are also excluded; for example, Buster Keaton's 1965 film "The Railrodder", and the famous 1936 British doc- umentary "Night Mail", are both shorts and so not listed.
It is not a list of *realistic* movies about trains; I'm not qualified to evaluate all the technical details, but I can certainly say that many of the films have serious flaws in their depiction of railways.
The purpose of this list is to have intelligent conversations about the portrayal of women in film and the involvement of women in the film industry.

 Massive Lineup Marks Annual Toronto Fest
Toronto's Visions section debuted last year to showcase filmmakers who "push the boundaries of contemporary cinema." This year's line-up includes 14 features, 10 of which are world or North American premieres.
Films set to screen in Perspective Canada include the world premiere of Anita McGee's "The Bread Maker," about a bread factory worker who writes romance novels by night but finds her current book in a state of flux after she falls for a local weatherman.
Also set to screen is the verite-style exploration of an eccentric man's quest for fame amidst self-discovery in "Flyerman." Jeff Stephenson, who has served as a juror for the Genie and Gemini Awards, Canada's highest entertainment honors and Gemini nominated director of photography, Jason Tan, directed the film.

The Hall Of Famer was named head coach of the New York Knicks on January 15, 2004.
Wilkens is only the 2nd person to be inducted into the basketball Hall of Fame as both a player and a coach (John Wooden was the first).

Hood's "Tsotsi", based on Athol Fugard's novel, was described by the Toronto festival as tracing "six days in the lonely, violent life of Tsotsi (meaning 'thug'), a ruthless, young gang leader." Miramax neither confirmed nor denied the pact this weekend.
The 2005 Toronto International Film Festival will open on September 7th with Deepa Mehta's "Water," which is one of the three Canadian Gala Presentations set for this year's festival.
The film is described as being "set in pre-independent India against the backdrop of Mahatma Gandhi's rise to power, (it) tells the story of eight-year old child-bride Chuyia, who is exiled to a widow's ashram after her husband dies." Eugene Hernandez reports.

It's a superb movie and captures that style of serials, adventure stories and comic books perfectly, how I know that for sure is only through repeats since I wasn't alive during those times.
The set pieces are fantastic, and although some of the wilder end sequences are slightly dated now, it hasn't lost the excitement factor.
He has many more facial movements and voice inclinations in this early movie than he does nowadays, now he belongs to the moody, quiet school of acting, then he was dynamic, adventurous, strong and as wisecracking as the best of them.

We have no idea how close other movies were, how strong the nominees were in vote count, etc. We are still guessing.
The 2005 film is messy, with an obtuse beginning and no ending whatsoever, but the twist is spirited enough, and accompanied by enough pyrotechnics, to forge sufficient entertainment, preventing the film from being a complete waste of time.
Of course, the movie wants desperately to be a metaphor about marriage and relationships, and it overplays that hand, but the zingy dialog is full of quips that couples will identify with, and the stars are accomplished enough performers to hold up their end no matter how dumb the movie becomes.

We undestand the film crew is set to be there for about 2 months.
One thing to note is that they were all slow travelers: The play is set over a week at the Pensione Fioria.
There was a movie that was filmed (partly) in Positano, but I don't remember the name and I think that it has been mentioned......great scenery and more recent than the above mentions.
