I spent a long portion of the 4 hours trip on the platform between two wagon enjoying the scenary: the jungle, some monkeys peaking at the passing train, the train stations, the villages, etc...
This facility is available at present in Mumbai and many other major cities and is a very easy way to book tickets for journeys inbetween any two places on the whole Indian Railways network.
