Many of these writers may no longer write for a particular magazine or may not now be primarily known as magazine writer.
Writers can post their press releases, submit paying markets to a list that is generated monthly and participate in scheduled chats.

Yes, I put it out there because like many writers, I genuinely believe that there are people who want or need to read me. Fortunately I've been endowed with a high volume of self-certainty so that I can get through not being A-listed by assuring myself that it's their loss.
Fear that the A-list status may disappear, which would cause self-questioning, doubt, etc. On the other hand, that might be all bullshit, in every respect.

The point is that writers can no longer rely on editorial standards that used to be built into the editing and copy-editing process within every mainstream house.
It had apparently sunk in that when you're using POD to produce backlist titles that are technically out of print, doing so by printing a whole bunch of copies to put in a warehouse is a little stupid.
Before, it was listed as unavailable and had the extra two bucks tacked on if anyone wanted to buy it.

First, deciding to invade rather than contain Iraq—we contained the Soviet Union for 50 years—and then to abandon the Powell Doctrine of overwhelming force and to use too few troops when we did invade.
I also reject the Bush administration's arrogant unilateralism in contrast to his father; its lack of planning; its amazing belief that conquerors would be received as liberators; what happened at Abu Ghraib prison; and the list of mistakes that compounds daily with the body bags.
I don't know what John Kerry will do, but I have confidence that he and the U.S. military can manage this war better.
