Volunteers are currently listed with outdated email addresses, many are still listed who are no longer able to help, and the resources listed as available to volunteers have become inaccurate.
I don't know if the potential set of volunteers is technologically adventurous enough to be willing to learn to use such a site, and I'd hate to exclude anyone based on their level of previous experience with internet sites.
